Does it work on every website?+
It works on most article pages, such as news stories and blog posts with one main block of text. Some pages, such as paywalled articles and web apps, may not come out cleanly, and it is switched off in Gmail.
Where do my highlights go?+
The text you highlight is saved in Chrome's local storage on your device and never sent to our servers. ReadMode does not show past highlights again when you come back to a page.
Can I change the font?+
Yes: serif or sans-serif, bigger or smaller text, and a dark, light or sepia background. ReadMode remembers your choice.
What does Pro add?+
Nothing extra. Every ReadMode feature is free, with no article limit. Pro ($2.99 a month with a 7-day free trial, $24 a year, or $29 once) is how you pay for ReadMode if you use it. You can manage or cancel a plan any time.
